FORCE TOURNAMENT UPLOAD may be used if you need to force a phone call to the ITS. To force a call, highlight FORCE TOURNAMENT UPLOAD using the trackball. Then move the trackball to the right to display YES. When you exit out of Test Mode, the game will automatically make a phone call attempt. If the call is successful, this setting will default back to NO. If the call is not successful, the game will continue to call periodically until a successful call is made.

Some phone systems or companies may require an initial prefix, such as "9", before dialing. Highlight OUTSIDE LINE ACCESS NUMBER to select your desired prefix. Moving the trackball left or right will increase or decrease the number. When the desired number is displayed, press the START button. Zero means no prefix is used.

Some phone systems or companies may require a delay before dialing in order to connect to a dial tone. Highlight OUTSIDE LINE ACCESS DELAY and move the trackball left or right to select the desired delay. The number represents seconds. When the desired delay time is displayed, press the START button. The default delay is 2.

Some older locations may still use rotary, or pulse phone systems. You can change the game to accept rotary phone lines by highlighting ROTARY DIAL PHONE LINE and then moving the trackball to the right to change the setting to YES. If your location uses the more common tone lines, make sure this setting is set to NO.

MODEM CONNECT TIMEOUT is used to adjust the amount of time the modem remains on line in order to complete a phone call. If you notice your game timing out before a connected call is completed, you may wish to increase this setting, to allow for longer connect time. The default setting is 1:30.

DISPLAY UPLOAD DIAGNOSTICS will display debugging code on the screen during a phone call. This setting should remain on NO.

DISABLE ITS ACCESS will completely disable the game from trying to make a call. To avoid losing your tournament capability, this setting should remain on NO.

DISABLE MODEM CONNECTION is used at the factory during production and should remain on NO.
